Its not a pillar, but one part of the temple.The whole temple is made out of marble.
I will put more, but i think this is one of the better looking ones:)
Hey this pics looks doctored to me, I may be wrong but the pillar and the background doesnt seem to marry. Not even an engagement :-)Reply awaited..

Surprising.
Its not doctored, what you see is the actual pic, but in water color finish.
Its a huge marble temple against the backdrop of the sky.
